“ICHITAN Experience Academy” aims to provide knowledge in beverage industry from 7 experts, a hand-on experience outside classroom. A chance for university students to train with one of the most advanced technology and be ready to enter in the beverage industry. Tan Passakornnatee, Chairman and CEO of Ichitan Group PLC. revealed that “beverage industry in Thailand plays an important role in driving the country’s economy: ready-to-drink tea market accounts for 15,000 TMB each year while a market size of all beverages in Thailand has reached 230,000 TMB. Moreover, when the regional integration of CLMV or AEC is completed, Thailand will be the hub in distribution of products, knowledge and technology to other neighboring countries. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare personnel to promptly be a part of the industry development which will further boost Thailand’s economy.
As such, ICHITAN Group has launched “ICHITAN Experience Academy” with 7 completed courses in beverage production taught by 7 ICHITAN executives, who are all experienced in the industry, to offer students hand-on experiences which cannot be found in the classroom.

Most students in related fields still do not have a clue of the critical importance and roles of subjects like Food Sciences, Food Technology, Food microbiology, Biotechnology, Food Engineering in business and industry yet.
There are several cases that the trainers would like to share with the participants in order to show them how to overcome obstacles and crisis situations with profession and professionalism. It is also a great opportunity for students to be trained to utilize the most advanced technology valued up to 8 billion baht including laboratory, sensory lab, a prototype pilot plant, bottle blow molding room as well as the world’s most efficient warehouse system.
The courses will be conducted at ICHITAN Green Factory which is equipped with advanced technology from Germany, Italy and Japan. Moreover, ICHITAN manufacturing process and system is designed to support production of all kinds of beverages such as tea, coffee, milk, juice, etc. So, it is definitely beneficial for the students who want to work in the beverage industry and surely they cannot find such courses in their campuses.
The call for application is open today until the 31st August 2017. The participation is free of charge; however, the seats are limited for 700 students (100 seats per each course) who will have a chance to experience the intensive practice courses. Students from related field can apply in group of 10 persons. The selected applicants will be announced on the 19th September 2017 and the training starts on the 2nd November 2017.
