Ichitan freshens up China with new natural coconut milk drink “Ichitan Wang” Introducing it for the first time at THAIFEX – World of Food Asia 2019; Showcasing its capability in OEM and export

Ichitan Group sets to excite Chinese market with new natural coconut milk drink “Ichitan Wang” which the company introduces for the first time at THAIFEX 2019 – World of Food Asia 2019 among many other highlights from Ichitan to showcase its capability in export and OEM, all in support of Ichitan’s sales revenue at 12% this year, up from last year’s revenue of 5,216.2 million baht this year.

Mr. Tan Passakornnatee, President of Ichitan Group Public Company Limited, said, “Ichitan has adjusted our marketing strategy in CLMV countries (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam) and Indonesia which resulted in good progress in the 1st quarter of 2019 with export ratio up to 32.4% of sales revenue. Besides international market, in Thailand we have developed new products to answer the needs of Thai consumers continuously. Recently, we have developed “Ichitan Wang”, a natural coconut milk drink, which targeted Chinese tourists. We aim to market the product in China as we have seen great potential from this market as coconut milk drink is highly popular among Chinese consumers.”

“Ichitan Wang” is a natural coconut milk drink made from a selection of premium grade coconut sourced from Thailand’s best coconut farms that produced intense flavoured coconut milk drink filled with nutritional values including vitamins, minerals, and medium chain triglycerides (MCT) that our body can absorb instantly. There is no cholesterol, trans fat or lactose. It is produced from natural ingredients combining 5 scents of flowers originated from Thai royal court providing a well-scented flavour that is unique, intense and long-lasting smell.

Apart from the launch of “Ichitan Wang” at THAIFEX 2019, there were other highlights showcasing at the event including other Ichitan products as well as OEM products that showed how committed and ready for the company to produce OEM products. Ichitan has not only been able to produce ready-to-drink tea, the company also has the technologies to produce a wide range of ready-to-drink products including coconut milk drink, fruit juice, energy drink, coffee, cereal drink and soymilk etc.

Currently, Ichitan Green Factory has a production capacity of 1,400 million bottles a year. Under the same roof, it contains a pilot plant that helps clients to reduce the cost of prototype development at up to 80% compared real production. The plant also provides a one-stop service under international standard. Ichitan Group expects to gain 200 million baht in revenue from OEM business by the end of 2019.
