Marketing Association of Thailand by Junior Marketing Association of Thailand (J-MAT) in collaboration with Ichitan Group Public Company Limited recently hosted an opening ceremony of “28th J-MAT Award for Marketing Plan Competition” on Tuesday - January 29th, 2019, at the SF World Cinema@ Central World, 9th floor with more than 865 students and lecturers from 44 institutions nationwide attended. Welcome speech by Mr. Auttapol Rerkpiboon, President of the Marketing Association of Thailand and opening remark by Mr. Tan Passakornnatee, President of Ichitan Group Public Company Limited.
This year assignment for participating team is to create a marketing plan of ready-to-drink tea with chewable bits under the theme of “Activating Youngster – Nation-wide Chew & Chill”
“J-MAT Award : Marketing Plan Competition” provides a myriad of opportunities for university students. It is a great platform to demonstrate their talent and provide opportunity to explore their boundaries and expand their horizon, together with a chance to win the prestigious award - Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn royally bestowed trophy, as well as scholarships valued more than 500,000 baht in total. This year, there are 455 teams joining the competition from nationwide institutions.
28th J-MAT Award Schedule
1st Round - 50 Shortlisted teams will be announced on Wednesday 27 March 2019
2nd Round - 14 Shortlisted teams will be announced on Wednesday, April 3, 2019
3rd Round - 7 Finalist teams will be announced on Friday, 19 April 2019 (These 7 teams will also receive notification calls via phone.) Presentation Day: Presentation of plans from all 7 teams on Friday 26 April 2019 at 12.00-18.00 (venue to be announced) Winners’ announcement and award ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at 12.00 - 17.00 (venue to be announced)
